Abstract

1400501 Hypodermic syringes BIO-MEDICUS INC 23 June 1972 [25 June 1971] 29567/ 72 Heading A5R A hypodermic syringe includes a needle 42 consisting of three straight segments 42a, 42b, 42c, the segments being angularly disposed relative to one another and the third segment 42c, which terminates in the injection point, lying on a line offset from the syringe body. The segments are arranged at an obtuse angle or a right angle (Figure 1 not shown) to one another. The first segment 42a nearest the syringe may be disposed on the longitudinal axis of the syringe and may be parallel to the third segment. The bends between the segments may be angular or curved and have the same uniform transverse cross-section as the segments.
