Abstract
139,997. Gore, L. S. July 23, 1919. Blind persons, communicating with.-An indicator for use by the blind as a time-recorder in their occupations &c. comprises a number of twelve-sided flat plates a, corresponding to the days of the week, the edges of which have twenty-four borings, corresponding to the hours and half-hours, one at each angle c and one in each side b, for the insertion of pegs or the like. Four studs are fixed on one face of each plate, one opposite to each third angle; these studs serve to space the plates and also to particularize the adjacent angles. The plates are mounted on a supporting-rod f in such a way as to prevent rotation but to allow of sliding. The supporting-rod is fixed to a stand g.
