1399338 Purification of adipanitrile IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 25 Sept 1972 [11 Oct 1971] 47191/71 Heading C2C Adiponitrile is purified by treating crude adiponitrile with a clay mineral sepiolite or attapulgite which has been preactivated by heating. The clay mineral may be mixed with alumina and/or magnesium oxide prior to activation.
