Abstract
1397411 Measuring pressure ratio electrically PLESSEY CO Ltd 18 July 1972 [19 May 1971] 15905/71 Heading G1N [Also in Division H4] Fluid-pressure pulses have a duty ratio proportional to the ratio of two pressures P1, P2, Fig. 1, in a fluidic apparatus as disclosed in Specification 1343404. Complementary electric pulse trains Pa, Pb are derived, Fig. 2, by Piezoelectric transducers PDI, PD2 from these fluid pulses, the pulse trains being subtracted to give a double amplitude train F o for transmission to the demodulator EC, (see Division H4), where the duty ratio, i.e. pulse width to cycle ratio, is converted to a proportional D.C. voltage.
