1396222 Warp-knitting machines W REINERS VERWALTUNGS GmbH 12 March 1973 [17 March 1972 14 Sept 1972] 11816/73 Heading D1C In a warp-knitting machine, weft threads 22, 23 are fed to a store in which they are held parallel to one another by a rotatably mounted thread positioner 7 having two paths along which the threads 22, 23 are guided which form two separate wefts and a thread guide with parts rotatable relative to the positioner as the latter is moved to prevent twisting of the threads 22, 23. The weft store 8 comprises two store discs 9 with retaining elements 10 secured on a shaft 11 driven synchronously with the speed of knitting of fabric 6. Thread positioner 7 has a balance weight 7' and tubular axle 13 mounted in a flanged bush 14 and rotated by a disc 16 in synchronism with the knitting speed. An arm 18 is mounted on a tubular piece 19 mounted in axle 13 and having bores 20, 21 for two different weft threads 22, 23 drawn from bobbins 24, 25 whose thread ends are tied to those of reserve bobbins 26, 27 to ensure a continuous supply.
