Abstract

Printing-surfaces. - Addressing - machines are fitted with metal frames for receiving the address plates, each frame being constructed so as to carry a separate plate on each face, so that twice the number of addresses can be printed from a given number of frames. A frame 1 is shown having bent-up parts 4, 5, 4<b>, 5<a> bent upwardly or downwardly from the outside edges or centres of the frames in such a way as to form a securing means for one plate 6 on one face of the frame, and for a similar plate on the reverse face. The frames are formed with protecting side projections 9 formed by bending the metal.
