Abstract

1394047 Copying machines FUJI XEROX CO Ltd 21 Aug 1973 [23 Aug 1972] 39660/73 Headings G2H and G2X A heating unit for fixing developed electrophotographic images, or for thermo-developing diazo-types prints, in a machine capable of copying on copy papers of at least two different widths, comprises a primary heating element 1 and at least one secondary heating element 4, both the former and the latter elements being connected to power when the larger width of copy paper is being used, and the former alone being connected when the smaller width of copy paper is being used. Preferably two secondary elements 4, 4' are used, and are disposed either side of and coaxially with the primary element 1.
