Abstract
1391483 Flotation apparatus DEGREMONT SOC GENERALE D'EPURATION ET D'ASSAINISSEMENT 24 March 1972 13941/72 Heading C1C [Also in Division B1] A flotation (e.g. electro flotation) apparatus comprises a number of vertical passages 2 which when the apparatus is in use extend above and below the hydraulic level of the liquid being treated the hydraulic level being established by overflow 8. The passages may be provided by tubes or by plates forming ducts of square, rectangular or hexagonal cross-section. The passages may be adjustably mounted and may float. Skimmer 6 removes floated material to overflow 8 provided with screw 9. There may be more than one overflow.
