Abstract

1390771 Fishing float PANTHER PLAST AS 20 March 1972 [5 April 1971] 8807/71 Heading A1A The float has a spherical hollow plastics body 1 with a passage 2 running through it, and at one end of this passage is a recess 3 whilst at the other end is an enlarged part 7. Into recess 3 fits the hexagonal head 4 of bolt 5 and this bolt extends almost to the opposite end of the passage. The bolt carries a thread which corresponds with thread 11 of cylindrical member 8. As the member 8 is screwed into position the side walls of the enlarged part firmly grip the member and a fishing line or net, which has been previously engaged in e.g. a notch 9. The top part of the member 8 may alternatively be shaped as a hook for lateral insertion of the line when the member is loosened. On screwing the member the hook opening moves into enlarged part 7 and the line is trapped in this position.
