1390592 Lamps ICHIKO INDUSTRIES Ltd 7 Feb 1973 [11 Feb 1972] 5910/73 Heading F4R A combination signal lamp such as a tail lamp, turn signal lamp and stop lamp for a motor vehicle has a lens structure consisting of at least two lens pieces each having a side wall joined to the adjacent side wall of a neighbouring piece, the side wall 1 of one piece A having at least one dovetail groove 3 and a pair of peripheral steps 5 and the adjacent side wall 2 of another piece B having a complementary interfitting dovetail projection 7 and complementary peripheral ridges 8, a groove (9, Fig. 1, not shown) being formed between the lower edges of the side walls and filled with adhesive to secure the pieces in place.
