Abstract

1389785 Multi-flash devices PATENTTREUHAND-GES FUR ELEKTRISCHE GLUHLAMPEN mbH 13 April 1973 [20 April 1972 7 Sept 1972] 17850/73 Heading G2X A multi-flash device for a camera comprises a transparent cube enclosing a mounting plate supporting four mechanically ignitable flash-bulbs and a reflector, characterized in that four stressed coil springs 25 are seated on pins 24 on the mounting plate, the striker arms of the springs being held in biased position over respective apertures 8 in the plate by a single metal member 11 mounted in the middle of the plate. The member 11 may be a cruciform platelet, as shown, cup-shaped with the upstanding wall provided with recesses which engage the springs 25, or substantially planar with upstanding lugs. The bulbs, which are seated in blind holes 21 are ignited by a trigger from the camera entering through apertures 8 and pushing the spring out of engagement with member 11.
