Abstract

1389296 Duplicating set KORES HOLDING ZUG AG 21 April 1972 [28 April 1971] 18701/72 Heading D2B A duplicating set comprising a top sheet having a pressure-transferable coloured layer on its lower surface and a bottom sheet having an adhesive layer on its upper surface is characterised by the application of a binder to regions of the coloured layer on the top sheet to inhibit transfer of coloured material from said regions to the underlying sheet. The binder may be a wax or polymeric material e.g. polyvinyl acetate, polyisobutylene, or a cellulose derivative, or polyethylene. The binder may have the same chemical composition as the adhesive used on the bottom sheet e.g. both may be wax. The binder may be applied in the form of a solution using a flexographic printing method.
