Abstract

1387955 Golf clubs WILSON SPORTING GOODS CO 18 May 1973 [5 March 1973] 23914/73 Heading A6D A golf club of the iron type comprises a head 10 having a threaded bore 16, 17 at the back surface thereof, at least one metallic disc 19, 20 received within said bore and a threaded plug 21 for retaining said disc within said bore, the swing weight of the club being adjustable by changing the number of discs disposed within the bore. The discs may be of tungsten, each weighing 1/16 of an ounce and representing one swing weight point. A rubber washer 18 is preferably provided in the bore for securing the discs against vibration.
