1387100 Ball mills; agitator mills; grinding chalk PLUSS-STAUFER AG 4 July 1973 [18 Oct 1972] 31844/73 Heading B2A A tumbling or agitator ball mill for comminution of e.g. pigments or fillers, and specifically for grinding chalk in aqueous suspension, has a change of grinding elements made of 30-70% zirconium oxide, 0.1-5% aluminium oxide and 5-20% silicon oxide (percentages by weight). Sizes are: for tumbling mills, 0.5-10 cm diameter; for agitator mills, 0.05-0.5 cm preferably 0.1-0.25 cm.
