1385291 Board game A G VAN TOL 24 April 1973 19303/73 Heading A6H A board game has a set of differently coloured and/or shaped first playing pieces for each (e.g. four) player(s) and a board 1 comprising squares or sections 2. A set of second playing pieces (not shown) with varying score values is provided and these second playing pieces are placed upon distinctively marked squares 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 before starting the game. The first playing pieces are placed upon certain rows of numbered spaces 3 arranged around the board and moved according to the dictates of one of a set of route cards (see Fig. 7) in a direction indicated by arrows 4. The route cards have numbered moves and e.g. that shown in Fig. 7 indicated that a piece must be moved two spaces forwards, two spaces to the right and one space forwards-the double ring indicating that the piece may capture an opposing or a second playing piece upon the fourth move. A score chart (not shown) is provided giving point scores for various combinations of captured second playing pieces. In certain circumstances captured first playing pieces may be replaced upon the board on squares 12.
