Abstract
1383094 - Puzzle game L M GIOIA C ELLSWORTH and J L WEBB 19 April 1972 [19 April 1971] 18189/72 Heading A6H A puzzle game for one or more players includes a disc-shaped board 10 having a maze path on its upper surface and a piece e.g. ball 42 movable along the maze path, resilient means e.g. a rod 50, for movably supporting the game board 10, weights 16 for moving the game board 10 (and the game piece) on the resilient support 50 and means 14, 18 for retaining weights 16 at fixed positions on the game board 10. The board 10, made of plastics is supported on a resilient rod of metal or glass fibre 50 removably held in a collar 52 at its upper end and removably held in a collar 58 of a plastics tripod base 62 at its lower end. The weights 16 may be' steel ball bearings and the ball 42 may be made of wood or plastics and is preferably lighter than a ball bearing 16. The object of the game is to steer the ball 42 from a "start" position 40 through the maze path to a central seat 36 by arranging weights 16 at various positions around the board 10 to thereby tilt the board 10 and cause the ball 42 to roll.
