1383068 Boots &c I A GRADISAR 13 Nov 1972 52266/72 Heading A3B [Also in Division H1] A device for warning a patient when too great a load is placed upon the foot, during exercise, following a hip joint or like surgical operation, comprises load sensitive means 20, 22 Fig. 1 arranged in a yieldable sock 10 of the patient shoe 12 and connected, as by wires 52, 54 to an audible or like warning device 11. The load sensitive means comprises a pair of electrical contact plates (30), (32) Fig. 3 (not shown) (see Division- H1) embedded in the sock and having means such as a screw (46) for varying the load at which a circuit is closed.
