Abstract

1380338 Pivots METALARTE SA 25 May 1972 [4 Jan 1972] 24616/72 Heading E2F [Also in Division F4] A lamp assembly comprises at least, two elbowed tubular sections 1 joined together by their openings in such a way as to allow relative rotation between the sections, one of the end sections containing a lamp 13 which may have an adjustable lens 14 to vary the focus of the light beam. Each join comprises a crown 3 fixed in one opening and having fingers 4 separated by spaces 6 and a ring 2 fixed in the other opening and adapted to engage resiliently in depressions 5 in the fingers. Both the crown and the ring have serrated radial fixing lugs 8, 8a which are secured to corresponding serrated portions 9 of the sections 1 by adhesive. A step-down transformer 17 is housed in the base section.
