SHALL 6 Feb 1973 [7 Feb 1972] 5612/72 Heading G5C [Also in Divisions E1 and F2] In a support for a street name plate or other display panel wherein cross-bars 8 carrying the panel 13 are secured by bolts 11 to a pair of posts 6, the posts 6 are of rectangular section and are embraced by pairs of lugs 19 upstanding from flat bars 8 to locate the posts and cross-bars at right angles. As shown the lugs 19 comprise tongues bent up from the bars 8. In a modification the pairs of lugs are formed by channel members welded to the bars. The posts shown comprise rectangular tubes having apertures closed by caps 15 for access to the nuts of bolts 11. The panel 13 may be of compressed fibre board or metal and is secured to the cross-bars by adhesive and/or screws 14.
