Abstract
1374560 Aerials TOKYO KEIKI KK 17 Aug 1973 [18 Aug 1972] 38996/73 Heading H4A A slot array aerial comprises two portions 6<SP>1</SP>, 12, each of which includes a respective elongated half 13, 11, of a rectangular cross-section waveguide 3<SP>1</SP>. The waveguide half 13 has flare members 4a, 4b attached thereto, and the waveguide half 11 has an array of radiating slots 2 along one face. When the portions 6<SP>1</SP>, 12 are assembled together, the slots face outwardly towards the opening of the flare. Either or both of the portions 6<SP>1</SP>, 12 may be made of synthetic resin, when waveguide halves are provided with conductive layers, and the flare members may be so provided.
