1373741 Silo bottom unloader AUSTIN HOY & CO Ltd 16 Feb 1973 [7 March 1972] 10657/72 Heading B8E A silo bottom unloader comprises a sweep arm 2 pivoted at an external point 4 and running by buttons 8 on arcuate steel inserts 5. To protect the arm when not in use a canopy 7 in the form of one or more plates covers most of the arm and is raisable to the chain line protective position, Fig. 2, by hydraulic jacks 6. Cams or screw jacks may replace the jacks 6 and the canopy can also be applied to a centrally mounted arm 2.
