Abstract

1373029 Baths JACUZZI RESEARCH Inc 28 Dec 1972 [26 Jan 1972] 59780/72 Heading A4N A hydromassage bath assembly comprises a bath 1 having an elongated cavity 3 defined by side walls 5, 7, and end-walls 9, 11 rising from the floor 13 of the bath, and an arm rest 21 along each side wall and adjacent the end wall 9, each armrest terminating in a vertical wall 23 in which is located a conventional hydromassage assembly 25 arranged to provide an aerated liquid discharge, a similar such assembly 31 is located in the wall 9 and beneath this assembly is located a fitting 41 whereby water is withdrawn under the suction of a pump 45 from which it is conducted to the various assemblies by piping. The wall 11 is of shallow slope compared with the wall 9. A platform (57), Fig.2 (not shown), is located between an apron 17 depending from a flange 15 and the wall 9, said platform supporting the pump 45 within the outer confines of the tub. A single air intake valve 29 controls both of the assemblies 25.
