1371890 Radio receiving apparatus INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 23 Aug 1973 [28 Aug 1972] 39934/73 Heading H3Q In a television receiver in which controls for manual tuning are mounted in a drawer 5 which is pulled out for their operation, this operation causes a pin 7 to operate a switch to switch off an A.F.C. circuit. The A.F.C. circuit may alternatively be operated by means of a touch sensor associated with the drawer. The controls for at least one channel, e.g. for a weak signal, may be independent of the operation of the switch.
