1370846 Abrasive tools TAF-TELE ABRASIVE FLESSIBILI DEI F LLI CORTESE SAS 22 Feb 1972 8033/72 Heading B3D An abrasive wheel comprises a disc A having a plurality of radial or substantially radial openings C1 in each of which is secured by adhesive on edge D1 of a flexible abrasive sheet whereby the sheets are supported fan-wise on the disc. The openings have walls which diverge towards the rear surface of the disc and lead into an annular groove C or grooves. The adhesive is flush poured into the groove or grooves and into the openings C1 so as to secure the edges of the abrasive sheets in the openings, the sheets then being folded to lie one upon the other fan-wise on the face of the disc. The grooves may be covered by paper packing H. The disc may consist of a suitable resin and have a flat or conical surface. The disc may have two or more rows of openings for receiving tabs or vanes on the edges of the sheets. The disc may be reinforced by bushings or the like.
