Abstract

1370725 Wells &c CAMCO INC 16 May 1972 [21 June 1971 14 Sept 1971 15 Dec 1971] 22964/72 Heading E1F In a tubing mandrel 10 comprising a throughbore 16 and an offset receiver 20 for flow tools 22, a guide 26 for leading the flow tools to the receiver prevents through-bore tools 18 from entering the receiver or interfering with a flow tool in the receiver. In the modification shown in Fig. 7 angles 40 cooperating with the part of the mandrel above the receiver form the guide. A number of mandrels may be fitted in a tubing 12, each mandrel having a sleeve 46 for orientating a tool for installing a flow tool in the receiver.
