Abstract

One component 2 is formed from four walls 10 edge-connected by sealed hinges, and the other component 1 comprises four outer walls 10 of the same profile as walls 10 of component 2 and four inner walls 14 each formed with an obtuse angle C and hinge connected to each other and to walls 10 along edges 4, 5, 6 and 7 so that they may contract to a form corresponding to that of component 2 or expand about axis 8-8 to the splayed form shown in response to variations in ambient pressure. In a further embodiment (Fig. 3, not shown) a third component having rectangular walls is inserted between components 1 and 2.
