Abstract

136,874. Sheringham, S. Dec. 17, 1918. Modulators. - An appliance for use in teaching music consists of two parts. The upper part A is provided with openings G, H, J through which are seen the markings C, D, E, F on the lower part B, representing a piano keyboard, treble and bass clefs, and key signatures respectively. The edges of the opening G are provided with arrow-marks which can be brought opposite to any required key-note shown on the part B. In a modification, the upper member is marked with a squared network of lines, in which dots are placed in position in the vertical columns to indicate the chords and intervals proper to each major and minor key.
