1368370 Silicon SIEMENS AG 5 Sept 1972 [4 Oct 1971] 41087/72 Addition to 1347368 Heading C1A In the apparatus described in the parent Specification the construction is modified so that in the case of the bridge, the electrodes and the carriers the product of the shortest periphery, the smallest cross-sectional area traversed by the current and the specific conductivity is at least five times as great for the electrodes as for the carriers. At the connection points for the tubular carriers with the electrodes and the bridge, the carriers may be formed with interior branch-like projections to facilitate removal of the carriers from the deposited silicon.
