1367907 Chemical analysis AUTOMATED ANALYZERS Inc 15 Sept 1971 43103/71 Heading G1B The subject matter of Specification 42634/71 (Serial No. 1367706) is modified in that the reagent impregnated strip 40 or (120) Fig.4 (not shown) and, optionally the absorbent pads on the sample impregnated tape, has separate zones such that more than one analysis can be carried out. The zones may be longitudinal, e.g. 44, 46, 48, or transverse, Fig.3 (not shown) and may be formed by perforations, non-absorbent strips or walls. The zones may be severed by knives 68 after mixing of the reactants.
