Abstract

1367713 Screw and nut gearing ADJUSTOFORM PRODUCTS Ltd 11 Jan 1973 [11 Jan 1972] 1240/73 Heading F2Q [Also in Division G5] A dress form (Fig. 3, not shown) comprises a plurality of separate body sections adjustably connected for variations of the characteristic measurement of the form, at least two adjacent sections such as 11, 12 being connected by a coarse-threaded spindle 2, 3 engaging threaded members 6, 7 secured at 10 to the respective sections 11, 12. A wheel 1, positioned between the sections, is provided so that the spindle can be manually rotated to move the sections towards or away from each other, the spindle threads 4 and 5 being of opposite sense. A resilient detent 15 engages an annular toothed area (16) Fig. 2 (not shown) of the wheel 1 to prevent unwanted movement of the wheel.
