1366320 Cathode-ray tubes GENERAL ELECTRIC CO Ltd 7 Dec 1971 [28 Jan 1971] 56675/71 Heading H1D [Also in Division H4] In a projection system of the type described in Specifications 909,403; 1,043,910; 1,074,714 and 1,074,842, the deformable medium includes one or more 9, 10 substituted anthracene derivatives, serving to suppress radiation modes, e.g. due to local charge concentration and/or radiation damage on the surface of the deformable medium, which otherwise would degrade the image. Each substituent, as particularly described, may be chosen from phenyl, benzyl, xenyl or naphthyl.
