Abstract

136,065. Simpson, W. J. April 3, 1919. Book-markers.-Relates to book-markers for recording the number of any page, of the type wherein sliding and numbered pieces can be slid longitudinally to expose the numbers required through slots or apertures in the cover. The im. provements consist in the provision of three or four numbered strips e, f, g sliding in a cover-piece and movable by means of projections b, c, d, working in slits h, i, k to cause the required numbers to appear through apertures e<1>, f<1>, g<1> in the front cover. According to the Provisional Specification, the devices may alternatively be mounted on the back cover or on a ribbon used as an ordinary book-marker.
