1360362 Safety belt &c buckles FIRESTONE TIRE & RUBBER CO 2 Aug 1972 [21 March 1972] 41271/73 Divided out of 1360361 Heading E2A A push button release member 19 for a latch element 26 comprises a channel-shaped element having a web portion providing an upper surface for manual contact and legs 30 depending from the web portion, each leg having a plate retention groove 41, the grooves being in facing juxtaposed relation for slidably receiving the latch element therebetween for raising or depressing movement of the latch element in accordance with movement of the web portion. The safety belt buckle with which the release member is used is fully described in the parent specification.
