Abstract

1360228 Veterinary antibiotic compositions TAKEDA YAKUHIN KK 30 July 1971 35905/71 Heading A5B Compositions for administration to livestock. especially poultry, comprises at least one tetracycline antibiotic, at least one vitamin B 2 -active compound and at least one phenol compound represented by the general formula: wherein R is H, OH methoxy or carboxy and R<SP>1</SP> is H, OH formyl or carboxy. They may be in forms suitable for administration to the animals mixed with their feed or drinking water and may optionally contain other medicaments such as: vitamins A, B, B 6 , C, D 3 , E and K, folic acid, methionine, lysine, sulfa drugs and edible pigments.
