1358109 Selective signalling INDUSTRIE A ZANUSSI SpA 8 March 1972 [15 March 1971] 10859/72 Heading G4H Signals are transmitted from the camera site to one or more receiving sites in a closed loop television installation, by associating them with line sync. pulses in a video signal transmitted, the different line sync. pulses corresponding to respective receiving sites. At the camera site, the line sync pulses and half-frame sync. pulses in the transmitted video signal are used to increment and reset, respectively, a counter, a number of gates being controlled by respective push-buttons to recognize respective counts and lower the level of the respective line sync. pulse in the transmitted video signal. Each receiving site has a counter similarly incremented and reset, the lowered-level line sync. pulses enabling one or more gates to recognize respective counts and actuate bells respective to the gates.
