Abstract

1357374 Photographic cameras EASTMAN KODAK CO 16 June 1971 [16 June 1970] 28267/71 Heading G2A A photographic camera having a two-speed impact shutter has an electronic measuring device which provides a visible indication in a viewfinder if scene illumination falls below a predetermined value dependent on the selected shutter speed. Initial movement of a shutter - release member closes a switch 2. A switch 10 is positioned according to the set shutter speed and if light incident upon photo-resistor 4 is insufficient for exposure at the set speed transistor 5 is rendered conductive to illuminate a lamp 8. The values of resistors 6, 7 correspond with the two shutter speeds. A pre-set resistor 3 may be switched in circuit in place of the photo-resistor to check the battery potential.
