Abstract

Medicines, administering.-An appliance for administering medicines to horses comprises a hollow bit 1, perforated at 4 and containing two abutting soluble medicament containers or lozenges 2 pressed inwardly by plungers 6 acted upon by springs 14 secured in place by screw plugs 9. The plungers may be omitted so that the springs press directly on the medicaments. The invention may be adapted to hinged or snaffle bits as shown in Fig. 2.
