1354277 Heating and ventilating vehicles BRITISH LEYLAND TRUCK & BUS DIVISIONLtd 24 May 1971 [16 Sept 1970] 44175/70 Heading F4V A motor vehicle heating and ventilating unit 1 mounted on the roof 3 of a cab or passenger compartment comprises an air filter 5 which is removable from within the vehicle for cleaning or replacement. In the form shown, the unit 1 is mounted on the roof of the passenger saloon of a public service vehicle. The filter 5 is a sheet of foam plastics and is accessible through means of a hinged trim panel 6. The unit 1 is housed in a casing 2 having an inlet 4 and part of the airflow therethrough is fed to the vehicle engine.
