Abstract

1354002 Urine specimen collector UROSCIENCES INC 21 April 1971 [23 April 1970 22 Jan 1971] 44933/73 Divided out of 1354001 Heading A5R A device for collecting urine specimens from human females comprises an elbow-shaped hollow body terminating at one end in a substantially oval mouth 2 (which in use lies approximately in a vertical plane), a partition wall 3 disposed within the body and defining an opening communicating the mouth 2 with the other end 4b of the body, and a second opening 6 provided in the lower region of the mouth. The midflow stream Y is collected in a receptacle 5 and the initial and final flows X are discharged from the device via the opening 6 which is in the form of a notch.
