135,364. Caterpillar Tractors, Ltd., (Holt Manufacturing Co.). Jan. 13, 1919. Endless-track vehicles.-The main frame or chassis is supported from the roller fitted trucks by a transverse resilient member pivoted at its central portion to the chassis and at its extremities to the trucks in place of the equalizer bar described in Specification 16716/15. The resilient member 26 is arranged towards the forward ends of the trucks and to the rear of the front idler 17. The chassis is supported from the rear of the trucks by means of a transverse cross beam 25 and helical spring 25 which are situated at or near the forward pivots of the thrust rods 21 for the driving sprockets 12. In constructions where the driving sprockets 12 are carried on the truck frames, the helical springs 24 are disposed immediately in advance of the sprockets.
