1351412 Inducing male infertility ORTHO PHARMACEUTICAL CORP 24 April 1972 [26 April 1971] 18857/72 Heading A5B Fertility in male animals is inhibited and the growth of, or the size of the prostate and the seminal vesicle are inhibited or reduced respectively, by orally administering to a male animal an effective non-toxic dose of compounds of the formulae: where X represents an anion of a non-toxic acid having an ionization constant of at least 1 x 10<SP>-7</SP>, e.g. hydrochloric acid, R 1 and R 2 are alkyl groups, R 3 is an alkyl, aryl or alkyl aryl group, R 4 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl aryl or alkyl aryl group, or the group may represent a piperidino, morpholino, pyrrolidino or piperazino group.
