1349872 Polymeric material SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ NV 24 March 1971 7688/71 Heading E1W [Also in Division C3] A void former, for introduction into concrete structures, consists of expanded polymeric material entrained in a foraminous tube. The polymeric material is preferably polystyrene and the foraminous tubes exemplified are constructed of woven polypropylene tape. The former is preferably provided with one or more attachment means for linking it to a surrounding structure. In Example III such means are eyelets, along the length of the tube, in two rows diametrically opposite each other.
