Abstract

1349729 Screw conveyer; emptying containers OCE-VAN DER GRINTEN NV 25 May 1972 [25 May 1971] 24736/72 Headings B8A and B8C [Also in Division F1] The invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing powder from a container 1 which comprises a flexible helical member 9 which is fixed at one end 10, a tube 7 loosely fitted over the helical member, the end of the tube nearer the fixed end of the helical member being downwardly directed, there being means for sealably attaching the container 1 over the other end of the tube and means for rotating the container. The container is supported by means of rollers 2, 3 and is rotated by means of a motor 5 driving a roller 4. The tube is connected to the container by means of a screwed cap 6.
