1347981 Enamine intermediates MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 6 Sept 1972 [6 Sept 1971] 41539/71 Heading C2C [Also in Division C3] The preparation of the following enamines is disclosed : N - vinylpyrrolidine, 1 - (N - pyrrolidinyl)cyclohexene; 1 - (N - morpholino)- cyclohexene; 1 - diethylaminocyclohexene; 1- (N - morpholino) - 2 - methylpropene; N,N<SP>1</SP>- dimethyl - N,N<SP>1</SP> - di(cyclohexenyl) - hexamethylenediamine; N,N<SP>1</SP>-dimethyl-N,N<SP>1</SP>-di- (1 - cyclohexenyl) ethylenediamine; N,N<SP>1</SP>- di(1 - cyclohexenyl) piperazine; # - (N -pyrollidinyl)styrene; # - methyl - # - (N - pyrollidinyl)- styrene; ethyl - # - (N - pyrollidinyl)crotonate; 4 - hydroxy - 4 - methyl - 2 - (N - pyrollidinyl)- pent - 2 - ene; 1 - acetyl - 2 - (N - pyrrolidinyl)- propene; and N,N<SP>1</SP>-dimethyl-N,N<SP>1</SP>-di(#-styryl)- hexamethylenediamine. N-vinylpyrrolidine is prepared from acetaldehyde and pyrollidine, the other compounds being prepared by analogous methods from the appropriate amine and aldehyde or ketone.
