Abstract

1347177 Welding by fusion SAIPEM SpA 17 March 1972 [9 April 1971] 12702/72 Heading B3R [Also in Division B8] To enable a number of arc-welding machines to be conveniently gathered at the welding site and to facilitate their transportation the machines 2 are mounted in a metallic honeycomb structure 4 in an I.S.O. container 1. Each container is equipped with main and secondary switches 6, 7, circuit breakers and shunting boxes. Sockets having magnetic thermal switches are also provided. Several such containers may be coupled together to increase the number of machines that are available. Windows (5, Fig. 1) may be provided in the sides to admit light and air and can be opened through 90 or 180 degrees.
