Abstract

1345432 Knitting machines WIRKMASCHINENBAU KARL-MARX-STADT VEB 28 June 1971 30201/71 Heading D1C A warp knitting machine has at least two thread guide bars at least one 13, 13a, of which guides pattern threads and is reciprocated independantly of the cycle ofmovements of the knitting needles during which the other guides 3 guide threads 2 which are formed into a knitted material in co-operation with a ground layer e.g. of loose warps 11 and wefts 4. The guide bars being reciprocated laterally by eccentrics or pattern wheels. Threads 2 are knitted by needles 1 into a tricot pattern between comb 6 and web holder 8. A fibre fleece or a woven fabric may be used as a ground layer.
