1345408 Supply systems for discharge lamps SHING CHEUNG CHOW 22 June 1971 [24 June 1970] 29297/71 Heading H2H [Also in Division H1] A flash discharge lamp 1 is actuated by closing switch 13 in the circuit of Fig. 3, thereby energizing the starting electrode 7 by discharging capacitor 10. The main capacitor 9 then discharges between the main electrodes 2 and 3.
