Abstract

1344999 Program analysis ORDENA LENINA INSTITUT KIBERNETIKI AKADEMII NAUK UKRAINSKOI SSR 16 Feb 1971 59640/70 Heading G4A Apparatus for use with a data processor and adapted to perform syntactic analysis of an input program in a high level language in order to provide instructions for execution in the processor comprises an associative store having an input register adapted to contain a search criterion, an output register adapted to store data read from the store in response to a search criterion, and a feedback connection from the output register to the input register arranged such that data read into the output register as a result of a search is selectively combined with data fed to the input register. The output register 8 is connected to a part 3 of the input register, part 4 of which receives an input search criterion.
