1344994 Vehicle battery containers BRITISH LEYLAND TRUCK & BUS DIVISION Ltd 24 May 1971 [28 July 1970] 36547/70 Heading B7H A vehicle, e.g. a public service vehicle has a container for battery 1 comprising a base 3 and a side 2 connected by ties 4. A pivot pin 5 passes through side 2 midway along its length, and through lugs on the framework 6 near the side of the vehicle so that the battery may be swung out (dotted position) for servicing. The pivot pin 5 may pass through the base 3 of the contamer.
