Abstract

1344438 Baths and basins; carrier bags BAUER TOYS CO Ltd 7 March 1972 10616/72 Headings A4G and A4N [Also in Division A5] An inflatable bath for a child or a basin, comprises an inflatable base 10, an inflatable wall 12 secured around its periphery, and a pair of handles 18 attached to opposite sides of the wall on its outer surface. The wall of the bath &c. is divided into a plurality of inflatable sections by transverse partition 14, the section being separately inflatable and deflatable by valves 16 fitted with devices which give an audible warning if leakage of air occurs therethrough. A flexible sheet 20 is joined to three edges of the base to define a pocket, open at 22, for receiving a board 24, Fig.4 for supporting the base when the bath &c. is raised by the handles. A belt 40 may be attached to the base for securing the baby. A plurality of storage compartments 32 may be provided at one end, and an inflatable pillow 42 at the other end. The board 24 may have a handle slot 26 formed therein and have a flexible sheet 25 attached thereto by staples or eyelets to form a carrier bag for the deflated bath &c. The wall and base of the bath &c. may be of non-inflammable plastics such as P.V.C. or rubber and the board may be of non- inflammable cardboard. The inflated bath &c. may alternatively be used as a carry-cot.
